MyGhostBox is an industry leader in ghost containment and sale - we're the best in novelty pet ghost keeping for a reason! This is made possible with our skilled team of experts, evidence-based practices, and history of mostly-ethical, always-reliable ghost capturing techniques. From the afterlife to your living room, there’s a lot that goes into making a GhostBox into your new best novelty pet ghost (and/or friend ghost).
What does this look like in practice?
Here’s an overview of our process and how we stand apart from competitors:

Locating Your Ghost!
This part always draws in new hires - finding the ghost! But as we break it to the newbies: ghost-finding and catching isn’t as easy as it sounds.
It requires specialized training and education, and for the catching department, hands-on experience and Gert levels of strategic self-unpreservation.
This revelation usually produces only mild crying in the interns. Way to go, sluggers.
Find The Ghost
Our research team identifies a possible haunting and provides the necessary briefing for our investigation team. We accept requests for investigation from homeowners, renters, and others affected by ghostly presences directly, but we also explore ghost opportunities independently based on the skilled work of our historians and dedicated researchers.
Get The Ghost
Once the ghost is confirmed and identified in-person, our catching team is dispatched for containment. On a completely unrelated note, we offer full health coverage.
Design With The Ghost In Mind
With the ghost in hand, it’s held in a first-grade containment circle and observed while the correct box is designed to be its new enclosure.
The Right Box Sigils For Your Novelty Pet Ghost
To design the right box for the right ghost, our sigil team gets to work. Skeptics of advanced sigiling techniques like to disparage it as finger-painting with death, but we assure you it’s a far more scientific and artistic process than that.
Our sigilers refer to it affectionately as painting living lines. That will explosively ignite if layered incorrectly. But that’s what all the training is for, no big deal.
All our sigiled boxes are created using a brand-specific Six Point Design. This is a cutting edge improvement over the industry-standard Four Point (often referred to as the cross print) or Five Point (also known as pentagram-styled glyphs).
Sure, those sigil builds are fine for containing a ghost, if that’s all you’re looking to do. And if repeat customers is something you’re not worried about in the literal sense.
Four- and Five Point designs do far less against:
Unexpected sigil stress
Caused by the range of unexpected conditions a Ghost Box may find itself in throughout its containment life. Yes, this includes people licking the box.
Severe ghost presence leakage
Mild interactions are expected from all Ghost Boxes, but severe leakage can result in changes to the behavior and mental health of live people when in direct contact. Though you shouldn’t use that as a way to win an argument.
Particularly agitated ghosts
Often acceptable for merchants seeking to market novelty ghosts, rather than offer ghost relocation services (discussed below).
Ghosts and homes alike can be unpredictable. To prevent those very interesting but deeply un-fun results, we developed and rely on the Six Point Design for superior results. Even if we don’t technically have to, we go the extra mile because at MyGhostBox, we draw on our founder’s motto: “Things happen in life all the time.”
This deeply revelatory phrase boils down to: ghosts and homes alike can be unpredictable, so the GhostBoxes we design are made to stand up against unexpected changes. That kind of thinking is probably what let Gert keep most of her eyes!
